Kuwait City: Syrian President Ahmad al-Shara arrived in Kuwait today, leading a high-level delegation on an official visit at the invitation of the Emir of Kuwait, Sheikh Meshaal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the invitation was extended to strengthen fraternal relations and bilateral coordination between Syria and Kuwait. The visit aims to discuss ways of joint cooperation in political and economic fields, serving the interests of both nations and enhancing joint Arab action.
The Kuwaiti News Agency (KUNA) reported that upon his arrival, President Al-Shara was received by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and head of the accompanying honorary mission, Abdullah Ali Al-Yahya. The Syrian president is accompanied by an official delegation that includes the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ahmed Al-Shaibani, along with several senior Syrian government officials.
