Beirut: President of the Republic, General Joseph Aoun, on Thursday met with Minister of Public Health Dr. Rakan Nasreddine to discuss significant health sector developments. The discussions centered on the draft implementation decree for the National Drug Agency, which is being prepared for submission to the Cabinet. Additionally, the minister provided details on the National Cancer Plan.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Minister Nasreddine highlighted a notable increase in cancer drug coverage, which has risen by 43% over the past two months. He further informed President Aoun about his recent visit to the World Health Organization, where discussions facilitated Lebanon's restoration of its voting rights.
