Beirut: House Speaker Nabih Berri adjourned the general parliamentary session dedicated to questioning the government regarding its general policies, until 5:00 pm this afternoon, our correspondent reported on Tuesday.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, 21 deputies took the floor during this morning's session. The deputies focused their discussions on several critical national issues, including the country's security situation and the state's control over arms.
The session also addressed the American paper, the implementation of Resolution 1701, and the recovery of depositors' funds. Additionally, the Syrian displacement issue was a significant topic of debate. Some deputies called for justice for public sector employees, highlighting the breadth of concerns addressed in the session.
