Hezbollah Leader Declares Readiness for Military Confrontation with Israel

Beirut: Hezbollah leader, Naim Qassem, stated that they are fully prepared to confront Israel militarily if necessary, emphasizing that Lebanon faces an existential threat from ongoing Israeli aggression and U.S.-backed regional pressures.

According to Nam News Network, Qassem made his remarks during a memorial service for their fallen commander, Ali Abdul Moneim Karaki (Abu al-Fadl), who was killed during an Israeli attack last year. He asserted that Hezbollah is prepared for defensive confrontation and highlighted that if Israel's aggression necessitates defense, they are ready for either victory or martyrdom.

Qassem also referenced what he perceives as a broader Israeli expansionist agenda, citing Israeli actions in Syria, Gaza, and the broader region.
