Beirut: The Zionist Israel Defence Forces announced the successful execution of an airstrike that resulted in the death of Ahmad Muhammad Salah, the head of Hezbollah's Yohmor outpost in southern Lebanon. The operation took place yesterday and targeted the strategic area amid ongoing tensions in the region.
According to Nam News Network, Salah was actively involved in efforts to reestablish Hezbollah's military infrastructure in the Yohmor area. The Israeli defense statement highlighted the significance of the strike in disrupting Hezbollah's military operations and infrastructure development in southern Lebanon.
Earlier in the day, the Public Health Emergency Operations Centre of the Lebanese Health Ministry reported that an Israeli drone strike targeted a motorcycle in the Sharabik neighbourhood of Yohmor, located in the Nabatieh district. The strike resulted in one fatality, which was later confirmed to be the Hezbollah leader, Ahmad Muhammad Salah.
