Beirut: The Environment and Sustainable Development Unit (ESDU) at the Faculty of Agricultural and Food Sciences (FAFS) of the American University of Beirut (AUB) will host the winners' announcement ceremony for the Small Green Innovative Projects Competition - Lebanon, under the patronage of Prime Minister Dr. Nawaf Salam. The event will take place on Thursday, July 24, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at the M¶venpick Hotel in Beirut.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the Small Green Innovative Projects Competition - Lebanon is funded by the Arab Fund for Economic and Social Development (AFESD) and aims to support and develop projects that contribute to sustainable development.
In addition to announcing the winners, the ceremony will include a presentation of the selected projects and the launch of the KariaNet platform, designed to enhance the impact of development projects and programs while providing reliable scientific information and resources.
