Beirut: Lebanon's Army Commander General Rodolphe Haykal, on Thursday received MPs Michel Douaihy and Ghada Ayoub at his office in Yarzeh. The discussions reportedly focused on the general situation in the country.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Maj. Gen. Haykal also met with Bishop Antoine-Charbel Tarabay, the Bishop of the Maronite Diocese of Australia, who was accompanied by a delegation. Additionally, the Army Commander welcomed Dr. Sheikh Ali Ghazawi, the Mufti of Zahle and the Bekaa, and Sheikh Bakr Al-Rifai, the Mufti of Baalbek-Hermel, to discuss various issues.
