Beirut: Marking Army Martyrs' Day, Lebanese Army Commander, General Rodolphe Haykal, on Thursday laid a wreath at the Army Martyrs' Monument at the Ministry of National Defense, in honor of the pure souls of the fallen and acknowledgment of their ultimate sacrifices in preserving civil peace and the unity, sovereignty, and independence of Lebanon.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the ceremony was a solemn occasion attended by senior military officials and representatives of various sectors of Lebanese society. General Haykal's gesture aimed to commemorate the bravery and dedication of the soldiers who lost their lives in the line of duty, reinforcing the nation's commitment to remembering their contributions to Lebanon's stability.
