Army Command Honors Late General Victor Khoury with Wreath-Laying Ceremony in Amchit

Amchit: On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the Lebanese army, a delegation from the Army Command, headed by Brigadier General Zaher Al-Asaad, representing Army Commander General Rodolphe Heikal, laid a wreath at the tomb of former Army Commander and former Minister of Defense General Victor Youssef El-Khoury, at the family cemetery in St. John the Baptist Church in Amchit.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, this ceremony was part of the Lebanese army's commemoration events, honoring the contributions and legacy of General Victor Khoury. General Khoury is remembered for his service as both the Army Commander and the Minister of Defense, playing a significant role in the country's military history.

The wreath-laying at the family cemetery signifies the respect and recognition bestowed upon General Khoury by the current Army Command.
