Stockholm: The Swedish capital, Stockholm, witnessed a new demonstration on Saturday demanding an end to the "genocide" being waged by the Israeli occupation against the Gaza Strip, according to "WAFA" news agency.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, hundreds of demonstrators gathered in Odenplan Square, at the invitation of civil society organizations, and demanded that the Swedish government work to halt the Israeli attacks on Gaza.
During the demonstration, protesters held up signs reading, "Children in Gaza are being killed," "Schools and hospitals are being bombed," and "Stop the food shortage." They chanted slogans criticizing the Swedish government for its "failure to condemn Israeli operations in the Gaza Strip," and chanted, "Freedom for Palestine, no to Netanyahu's plan."
