The publication emphasized the significant risk of a sudden security vacuum should the mandate not be renewed, posing a critical threat to stability in the south of the country. Meanwhile, Al-Akhbar reported on the anticipated return of Barrack and the outcomes of Ortagus's meetings in Israel, which are being closely monitored. The newspaper also conveyed a strong message from the Lebanese Army to the authorities, urging them not to place the military in a position of confrontation with the civilian population.
