Merz: Achieving Peace in Ukraine Will Be Difficult

Berlin: German Chancellor Friedrich Merz stated that achieving peace in Ukraine "will be difficult, will require a lot of patience, and may take months.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, "No one should say that we are only discussing arms supplies today," Merz said during a party conference on Saturday.

He added that achieving peace in Ukraine "requires patience," noting that "everyone must realize the difficulty of this task," predicting that it "may take several weeks or even months."
