Beirut: Minister of Justice, Adel Nassar, on Friday hosted U.S. Ambassador to Lebanon, Lisa Johnson, in his office for a farewell meeting marking the conclusion of her diplomatic tenure in Lebanon.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Minister Nassar also engaged with a delegation from the KAFA Association. The discussions were centered on potential cooperation between the Ministry of Justice and the Association concerning legal matters.
In a separate meeting, Minister Nassar welcomed representatives from nineteen expatriate groups. These groups are actively working to secure fair and equal voting rights for non-resident Lebanese citizens. During their visit, the delegation presented an overview of their campaign efforts advocating for these rights.
