Netanyahu Asserts Firm Stance Against Palestinian Statehood

Beirut: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced that Israel's response to certain countries' recognition of a Palestinian state will be addressed following his return from the United States. In a statement, Netanyahu conveyed a firm message, stating, "I have a clear message to those leaders who recognize a Palestinian state after the October 7 massacre: You are awarding a prize to terrorism...and there will be no Palestinian state."

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Netanyahu emphasized his prolonged resistance against the establishment of a Palestinian state, describing it as a "terrorist state." He highlighted his efforts to prevent its formation despite facing significant internal and external pressure. Netanyahu further stated, "We did so with determination and political wisdom, and in return, we have doubled Jewish settlement in the West Bank, and we will continue on this path."
