London: In a post Sunday on the "X" platform, Prime Minister of the United Kingdom Keir Starmer announced that the United Kingdom has formally recognised the State of Palestine. Starmer stated, "Today, to revive the hope of peace for the Palestinians and Israelis, and a two state solution, the United Kingdom formally recognises the State of Palestine."
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, this move aims to support efforts towards peace in the region. The formal recognition is intended to contribute to a two-state solution, offering hope for both Palestinians and Israelis.
