Beirut: House Speaker, Nabih Berri, on Thursday held discussions at the second presidential headquarters in Ain El Tineh with Dr. Rola Dashti, the Executive Secretary of the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA). The meeting focused on the programs, projects, and activities that ESCWA is implementing in Lebanon.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Speaker Berri also engaged in a meeting with U.S. charg© d'affaires, Keith Hanigan, at Ain El-Tineh. Their discussions revolved around the general situation, the latest developments, and bilateral relations between Lebanon and the United States.
Later in the afternoon, Berri met with Lebanese activist George Abdallah. This meeting served as an opportunity to discuss the developments in Lebanon and the region, including political and field-related updates.
