Damascus: The Supreme Committee for the Syrian People's Assembly Elections confirmed today that "the voting process for the People's Assembly will begin tomorrow at 9:00 a.m. with the delivery of ballot papers to voters."
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the committee stated that the voting process will initially end at 12:00 p.m., with the possibility of extending it until 4:00 p.m. Upon closing of electoral day, ballot boxes will be opened publicly, as vote counting begins and preliminary results start to be announced.
The committee indicated that the preliminary results will be submitted to appeals committees to consider any potential objections, following which the official announcement of the results will take place at a press conference next Monday or Tuesday.
