Foreign Minister Requests Filing Urgent Complaint Against Israel at UN Security Council

Beirut: Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants, Youssef Rajji, instructed Lebanon's Permanent Representative to the United Nations in New York to submit an urgent complaint to the Security Council and the Secretary-General of the United Nations regarding the raids launched by Israeli warplanes on October 11, 2025, on several bulldozer and excavator showrooms on the Msaileh-Zahrani road in the Sidon district. The raid resulted in the killing and wounding of several civilians and caused extensive damage to the targeted commercial establishments.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Rajji requested that Lebanon's Permanent Mission in New York publish the letter of complaint and distribute it as an official document to all Security Council member states. Earlier, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement on Saturday condemning the repeated Israeli attacks, which constitute a new blatant violation of UN Resolution 1701 and the cessation of hostilities agreement, and hinder the Lebanese Army's efforts to implement the plan to restrict the possession of weapons to the Lebanese state.
