Beirut: Minister of Culture Dr. Ghassan Salam© received the Iraqi Ambassador, Mohammed Redha Al-Husseini, at his office in the National Office of Sanayeh. The meeting discussed developments in Lebanon and the region, as well as bilateral relations between the two countries, particularly cultural relations.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the two sides also discussed the desire to expedite the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding concluded in 1999 between the Lebanese Ministry of Culture and the Iraqi Ministry of Culture, Tourism, and Antiquities for cooperation in the fields of culture, heritage, and antiquities between the two countries.
