Beirut: House Speaker Nabih Berri held multiple high-level meetings at the second presidential headquarters in Ain El-Tineh. During these meetings, he engaged with Deputy Prime Minister Dr. Tarek Mitri to discuss the general situation and the latest political developments in the region.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Speaker Berri also met with the UK Defence Senior Advisor to the Middle East and North Africa, Vice Admiral Edward Ahlgren. The meeting, which included an accompanying military delegation and the British Ambassador to Lebanon, Hamish Cowell, focused on the ongoing developments in Lebanon and the broader region. Discussions also touched on political and field updates, as well as the bilateral relations between Lebanon and the United Kingdom.
In addition, Speaker Berri engaged with Bahia Hariri, head of the Hariri Foundation for Sustainable Human Development. Their discussions revolved around the latest developments and matters concerning education and development.
This afternoon, Berri also received Brigadier General Andr© Rahal, who serves as an advisor to President Joseph Aoun.
