Foreign Ministers of Lebanon and Egypt Discuss Gaza Conflict Resolution

Beirut: Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants, Youssef Raggi, on Tuesday contacted by phone his Egyptian counterpart Badr Abdelatty, to discuss the latest developments regarding the cessation of the war in Gaza.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Minister Raggi commended "the efforts made to end the suffering of the Palestinian people," expressing hope that "Arab and international efforts will succeed in reaching a lasting agreement that guarantees the cessation of bloodshed and allows the Palestinians to establish their own state."

Raggi discussed with his Egyptian counterpart bilateral relations and ways to strengthen them, and emphasized the importance of maintaining coordination in various fields.
