Beirut: House Speaker Nabih Berri held a series of meetings at the Second Presidency headquarters in Ain al-Tineh, focusing on significant national issues and initiatives.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Berri first met with Industry Minister Joe Issa Khoury. Their discussions centered around the latest developments in the country, specifically addressing the general situation and various aspects of the industrial sector. The conversation also delved into the work programs of the Ministry of Industry, reflecting a focus on advancing the country's industrial capabilities.
In a subsequent meeting, Speaker Berri received Dr. Firas Abiad, the former Minister of Public Health. Dr. Abiad presented Berri with his book, "Resilience in the Face of the Storm," a gesture highlighting ongoing dialogue regarding public health challenges and resilience strategies.
Berri also engaged with Mohammad El-Hout, Chairman and Director General of Middle East Airlines (MEA). Their discussions were centered on the current conditions of MEA and its strategic work programs, emphasizing the importance of the airline's role in the country's economy and connectivity.
