Araya: The Ministry of Public Works and Transport announced on Wednesday that, as part of its ongoing efforts to protect public property, particularly railway and public transport assets, the competent judicial and security authorities have begun removing several encroachments on property belonging to the Railway and Public Transport Authority in Araya.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the move follows close follow-up by Minister of Public Works and Transport, Fayez Rasamny, and coordination with relevant agencies, as part of a broader plan to eliminate illegal occupations across Lebanon's railway lands in preparation for reactivating this vital national network.
The Ministry noted that similar legal actions were filed in other regions and reaffirmed its determination to pursue all violators within legal frameworks.
It thanked the judiciary and security agencies for their swift response and reiterated its commitment to upholding state property rights and safeguarding public facilities from misuse.
