Whisky Live Beirut 2025 Opens Amid Enthusiastic Attendance

Beirut: Beirut’s premier whisky celebration officially opened today in the presence of Lebanon’s Minister of Tourism, H.E. Laura Lahoud, along with presidents of associations and syndicates, ambassadors, and members of the media.

According to National News Agency – Lebanon, hundreds of whisky lovers and industry experts gathered at AVA Venue, Achrafieh, for the opening of Whisky Live Beirut 2025, the most anticipated fine spirits event in the region. More than 80 international specialists and producers from 15 countries welcomed guests for an immersive evening of tasting and discovery.

From the moment the doors opened, guests entered a world of curated experiences. The main hall showcased a wide array of premium whiskies, including classic, rare, and market newcomers, while the brand-new White Spirits Corner introduced gins and tequilas to curious palates.

Joumana Dammous-Salam©, managing director of Hospitality Services, highlighted that “Whisky Live Beirut is a true celebration of excellence and craftsmanship.” As part of the prestigious Whisky Live series held in over 20 cities worldwide, the event aims to connect enthusiasts and connoisseurs with the stories, culture, and passion that define the world’s most exceptional spirits.

A new feature for 2025 is The Gold Circle. Maha El-Khoury, project director, explained that the area is reserved for those who appreciate exceptional whiskies and spirits. Pass holders will have the opportunity to enjoy prestigious new releases and limited-edition bottles.

Running for three days, the event is expected to host over 6,000 visitors, ranging from passionate enthusiasts to seasoned connoisseurs. Attendees will have the opportunity to connect with global experts and attend more than 30 exclusive sessions, masterclasses, and workshops.

Intimate masterclasses will be hosted by spirit experts, distillers, and whisky writers, providing guests with the opportunity to learn more about subjects such as wood maturation, cask finishes, terroir influence, and blending philosophy.

The Star Bar is a highlight of the event, showcasing some of the region’s most exciting bartenders. Guests can expect bold cocktails, fresh takes on classics, and imaginative pairings using whisky, gin, and tequila, many infused with Lebanese botanicals.

The popular Lifestyle Boutique returns, offering a curated selection of rare whiskies, collector’s bottles, accessories, and unique gifts, from engraved tasting glasses to cigar pairings.
