Beirut: Under the patronage of Information Minister, Dr. Paul Morcos, Cedars Art Production (Al-Sabah Brothers) marked its 71st anniversary with a grand celebration at Sursock Museum, coinciding with the exhibition 'Diva: From Umm Kulthum to Dalida.'
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the event gathered senior officials, including Finance Minister Yassine Jaber, MP Abdul Rahman Bizri, Egyptian Ambassador Alaa Moussa, former ministers Ghazi Aridi and Ziad Makary, and a large lineup of Arab and Lebanese stars.
In his speech, Minister Morcos hailed the company as 'a national institution that has preserved Lebanon's artistic identity and carried its image across the Arab world.' He announced a government allocation in the 2026 budget to support Lebanese drama production.
Company Chairman Sadiq Al-Sabah expressed gratitude to artists and audiences, reaffirming his family's multigenerational commitment to creativity and the enduring power of storytelling.
