Israeli Forces Stage Deep Overnight Incursion into Blida, Kill Municipal Employee

Blida: In a serious and unprecedented violation, an Israeli force infiltrated more than one kilometer inside the southern Lebanese town of Blida shortly after 1:30 a.m., supported by several military vehicles and ATVs. The Israeli troops stormed Blida Municipality building, where municipal employee Ibrahim Salameh was spending the night. Soldiers shot and killed Salameh on the spot. According to National News Agency - Lebanon, residents reported hearing cries and calls for help coming from the building during the raid, which lasted until around 4:00 a.m., when the Israeli force finally withdrew. Following the retreat, the Lebanese Army entered the building, and with the assistance of the Lebanese Civil Defense, transported Salameh's body to a nearby hospital.
