Salam Engages in Strategic Dialogue with Arab Planning Institute and Turkish Ambassador

Beirut: Prime Minister, Dr. Nawaf Salam, on Friday, engaged in a significant meeting with a delegation from the Arab Planning Institute, led by Director-General Dr. Adel Abdullah Al-Wakian. The delegation also included Administrative Head Karim Adel Darwish and Lebanese representative Lamia Al-Mubeid Basat. Dr. Al-Wakian expressed the Institute's gratitude for the warm reception and underscored its mission to assist Arab nations in strategic planning, economic and social development, and capacity building. He lauded Lebanon's governmental efforts towards development despite persistent challenges and presented an extensive report on the Institute's initiatives, which encompass policy analysis, human capital development, research projects, and training programs.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, PM Salam welcomed the delegation's visit and stressed Lebanon's dedication to enhancing collaboration with the Arab Planning Institute to leverage its expertise in national planning and reform execution. He assured the delegation of full governmental support for joint programs, workshops, and institutional partnerships.

In a separate engagement, PM Salam met with Turkish Ambassador Murad Ltim. The ambassador characterized the meeting as 'very positive,' with discussions focusing on Lebanon-Turkey relations, Israeli aggressions, regional dynamics, and Turkey's unwavering support for Lebanon in various sectors.
