Beirut: Speaker of the House, Nabih Berri, on Friday hosted Deputy Prime Minister Dr. Tarek Mitri at the Ain al-Tineh residence. Discussions during the meeting revolved around the latest political developments and the general conditions prevailing in the country.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Berri also held a meeting with MP Simon Abi Ramia, who is the Chairman of the Parliamentary Youth and Sports Committee. Their conversation focused on current political issues and legislative affairs impacting the nation.
Additionally, Berri's engagements included a meeting with Ashraf Youssef Suleiman, South Africa's Ambassador to Syria and Lebanon. The discussions covered bilateral relations between the countries and overall developments in the region.
