First Coordination Meeting on Reconstruction Launches in Radar-Mseileh Under Berri’s Patronage

Radar-mseileh: The first coordination meeting on reconstruction was launched in the Radar-Mseileh area at the invitation of the Development and Liberation parliamentary bloc, under the patronage of Speaker Nabih Berri, represented by MP Mohammad Khawaja. The meeting was held in line with the ministerial statement's commitment to reconstruction and the need to accelerate the implementation of agreed measures.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the meeting was attended by MPs from the Development and Liberation and Loyalty to the Resistance blocs, as well as the Ministers of Health, Environment, and Finance. Also present were Lebanese Army representative Brig. Gen. Amin Qaai; South Council President Hashem Haidar; Deputy CDR President Ibrahim Chahrour; along with regional governors, heads of municipal unions, and representatives of the UN coordination office.

The meeting aimed to activate the reconstruction effort, set priorities, and review preliminary damage assessments prepared by the Council for the South and the Council for Development and Reconstruction.
