Beirut: President of the Republic, General Joseph Aoun, will leave Beirut on Monday morning heading to Sofia on an official visit at the invitation of Bulgarian President Rumen Radev extended to him last July. The visit comes ahead of both countries’ celebration of the sixtieth anniversary of the establishment of bilateral diplomatic relations next year.
According to National News Agency – Lebanon, President Aoun will be accompanied by Foreign Minister Youssef Rajji, as well as Lebanese Ambassador to Bulgaria, Rehab Abu Zein, who will join the delegation. Presidents Aoun and Radev will hold talks on bilateral relations and ways to develop them in all fields.
During his visit to the Bulgarian capital, President Aoun will also meet with the Prime Minister and National Assembly Speaker and several other Bulgarian officials.
