Beirut: Prime Minister Dr. Nawaf Salam is currently meeting at the Grand Serail with a delegation from the U.S. Department of the Treasury headed by Sebastian Gorka. The meeting is also attended by John Hurley, the Under Secretary of the Treasury for Terrorism and Financial Intelligence, and Rudolph Atallah, a counterterrorism expert at the U.S. National Security Council, along with accompanying officials.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the discussions are expected to focus on financial and security cooperation between the United States and Lebanon. The presence of high-ranking officials such as Hurley and Atallah underscores the importance of the dialogue in addressing issues related to terrorism and financial intelligence. The meeting is part of ongoing efforts to strengthen bilateral ties and enhance collaborative actions in areas of mutual interest.
