Beirut: Lebanon's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants has issued an appeal to Lebanese citizens residing abroad to expedite their registration for the upcoming 2026 parliamentary elections. The Ministry released a statement highlighting the availability of a detailed table that shows the number of registered voters according to Lebanese diplomatic missions and consulates worldwide. This information, updated as of Thursday, November 13, 2025, is based on data from the electronic expatriate registration platform for parliamentary elections: diasporavote.mfa.gov.lb.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, as of the latest count, 55,548 Lebanese voters have successfully registered. These registrations are distributed across various Lebanese embassies and consulates globally, with France leading in the number of registrations, followed by Germany, Canada, the United States, Australia, the United Arab Emirates, C´te d'Ivoire, and Saudi Arabia.
The Ministry has reiterated its call to all Lebanese expatriates to avoid delays in registering through the dedicated online platform: diaspora.mfa.gov.lb. It emphasized that its missions abroad are committed to providing the necessary facilities to ensure the broadest possible participation in the forthcoming electoral process.
