Beirut: President of the Republic, Joseph Aoun, on Monday signed a decree referring an urgent draft law to Parliament to amend and suspend certain provisions of the Parliamentary Elections Law. The decree was accompanied by the full text of the draft law, which had been approved by the Cabinet during its session on 6 November.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the decree bore the signatures of Prime Minister Nawaf Salam, and the Ministers of Finance, Interior and Municipalities, Foreign Affairs and Emigrants, and Justice: Yassin Jaber, Ahmed Hajjar, Youssef Raggi, and Adel Nassar.
