Beirut: President of the Republic, Joseph Aoun, on Tuesday welcomed FIFA President Gianni Infantino during his visit to Lebanon.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Infantino expressed his pleasure at being in Beirut, noting that he would later travel to Qatar to attend the Lebanon-Sudan match as part of the Arab Cup qualifiers.
President Aoun thanked Infantino for his continued support of Lebanese football and for the initiatives undertaken to advance the sport in the country.
