Beirut: The US Embassy in Beirut announced on its X account that it will be closed on Monday, December 1, and Tuesday, December 2, on the occasion of Pope Leo XIV’s visit to Lebanon.
According to National news agency – Lebanon, the announcement regarding the temporary closure of the embassy was made public to ensure that all necessary arrangements are in place for the Pope’s visit. The embassy has urged all American citizens in Lebanon to plan accordingly and seek assistance through alternate channels if needed during these closures.
