The visit comes at a critical time for the country, with over a thousand media professionals actively covering the event alongside security forces and organizational officials.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Dr. Morcos emphasized that the Pope's visit offers hope to the people of Lebanon, who are currently facing numerous challenges. He stated that despite the ongoing difficulties, Lebanon remains a nation of message, values, and humanity during the current presidential mandate.
Dr. Morcos further expressed his sentiments by welcoming the Pope to Lebanon, referring to his presence as a spiritual treasure. He noted that the visit enhances the prospects for peace and security while strengthening the resolve of the Lebanese people.
