Rome: UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan received French President Emmanuel Macron, who is on a working visit to the UAE, at the Zayed National Museum in Abu Dhabi: The UAE President welcomed Macron, exchanging New Year’s greetings and wishing both countries and their peoples continued progress and prosperity.
According to National News Agency – Lebanon, during the meeting, both sides discussed the course of the historical and strategic relations that unite the two countries and the possibilities of strengthening them, especially in the economic, investment, and cultural fields, in addition to renewable energy, advanced technology, artificial intelligence, sustainability, and other aspects that serve the vision of both countries towards achieving advancement.
The meeting was attended by Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Sheikh Khalid bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chief of the Presidential Court for Special Affairs Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and several ministers and senior officials. Also present was the delegation accompanying the French President, which included several ministers and senior officials.
The UAE President hosted a luncheon in honor of the French President and his accompanying delegation.
