A Well-Executed Security Operation in the Daraya Area of Syria Targets an “ISIS” Organization Hideout

Damascus: Specialized Internal Security units, in collaboration with the General Intelligence Directorate, conducted a precise security operation in the Daraya area, targeting a hideout of the ISIS terrorist organization. This was reported by the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA), which quoted Brigadier General Ahmed al-Dalati, head of Internal Security in the Damascus Countryside Governorate. The operation followed thorough investigations, intelligence gathering, and constant monitoring of the group's activities over the past few weeks.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the operation successfully led to the complete dismantling of the terrorist cell. Authorities arrested the cell's leader along with six other members and seized various weapons and ammunition that were intended for terrorist activities.

The operation was executed with careful planning and precision, with a strong focus on precautionary measures to ensure the safety of civilians. It highlights the high level of coordination between security and intelligence units and their capability to dismantle terrorist groups effectively.
