General Security Officer Alaa Kamal Chahadeh Martyred Following Israeli Drone Strike

Mazboud: Inspector First Class Alaa Kamal Chahadeh, a member of Lebanon's General Security and a native of Mazboud in the Iqlim al-Kharroub region, succumbed to critical injuries sustained last week in an Israeli drone strike. According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Chahadeh was severely wounded in the head when a drone targeted a pickup truck on the main Iqlim al-Kharroub road in the town of Sebline, Chouf district. He happened to be passing by the area on his way home from duty in Beirut. Initially transported to Sebline Governmental Hospital, he was later transferred to Al-Roum Hospital in Beirut, where he passed away. His funeral will be held today in his hometown Mazboud, following the Asr prayer. He will be laid to rest in the town's cemetery.
