Druze Sheikh Al-Aql Expresses Seasonal Greetings and Calls for National Recovery

Beirut: Druze Sheikh Al-Aql, Dr. Sami Abi Al-Muna, expressed hope that the holiday season would be "a genuine opportunity to look forward with aspiration and confidence to lifting our country out of its hardship," and a "practical translation of the message of His Holiness Pope Leo XIV, which converges with our own message of instilling the principles of love and peace in Lebanon, in harmony with our history and heritage, and in keeping the specter of war away."

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Sheikh Al-Aql also called for "strengthening the Christmas atmosphere and the spirit of the New Year in line with the essence of our faith-based, moral and missionary values, in order to uplift the life of individuals and society."

Abi Al-Muna extended Christmas greetings to President of the Republic General Joseph Aoun, Maronite Patriarch Cardinal Bechara Boutros Al-Rahi, the heads of Christian sects, and various officials, and wished the Lebanese people a promising year ahead filled with hope, stability, and prosperity.
