According to Bahrain News Agency, the result raised Al Khaldiya's tally to 24 points, maintaining first place in the standings, while Al Muharraq remained second with 20 points. In other matches of the same round, Sitra drew 1-1 with Al Shabab, and A'Ali defeated Al Budaiya 1-0.
