Beirut: MP Wael Abou Faour of the Democratic Gathering announced plans to connect Rachaya and West Bekaa to Lebanon's public transport network. This development follows a meeting with Ziad Chaya, Director General of Railways and Public Transport, alongside local municipal leaders.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the meeting concluded with an agreement to introduce daily bus routes serving the districts of Rachaya and West Bekaa. Buses have been allocated for the new routes, and work is ongoing to finalize trip schedules, with implementation anticipated soon.
Abou Faour expressed gratitude to Minister of Public Works and Transport Fayez Rasamny, Chaya, and their teams for addressing the transport needs of residents in Rachaya, West Bekaa, and across Lebanon.
