Beirut: President of the Republic, General Joseph Aoun, on Wednesday chaired a meeting attended by Saudi Foreign Minister's Adviser Prince Yazid bin Farhan, French envoy Jean-Yves Le Drian, US Ambassador Michel Issa, Qatari Assistant Foreign Minister Mohammad bin Abdulaziz Al Thani, as well as the ambassadors of Saudi Arabia, France, Qatar, and Egypt. According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the meeting focused on ongoing preparations for the convening of a conference dedicated to supporting the Lebanese Army and the armed forces. The discussions are part of broader efforts to gather international assistance and bolster the capabilities of Lebanon's military institutions.
