Beirut: The Media Office at the Ministry of Education and Higher Education issued the following statement "In light of forecasts indicating the possibility of renewed stormy weather, Minister of Education and Higher Education Rima Karami reiterated her instructions to leave the decision to close or keep open public and private schools, secondary schools, and vocational institutions to the administrations of these institutions. This decision should be based on each institution's specific circumstances, particularly the availability of heating, prevailing weather conditions affecting the safety of access roads to schools, and the extent of snow accumulation and ice formation, in order to ensure the safety of students, teachers, and administrators working in each educational institution."
