PM Salam Engages with Executives in Davos to Promote Investment Opportunities

Davos: On the sidelines of his participation in the World Economic Forum in Davos, Prime Minister Dr. Nawaf Salam held meetings with several executives from international companies.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Premier Salam met successively with Samer Khoury, the Chairman of the Board and CEO of Consolidated Contractors Company (CCC); Eugene Williemsen, the CEO of PepsiCo Global for Africa, the Middle East and South Asia; and Hassan El-Houry, Executive Chairman of Menzies Aviation.

During these meetings, discussions focused on the available investment opportunities in Lebanon, in addition to ways to encourage foreign direct investment and strengthen public-private sector partnerships. Prime Minister Salam emphasized the Lebanese government's readiness to provide the necessary facilities and incentives to encourage investments, which he stated would contribute to creating new job opportunities and stimulating the economy.
