Beirut: Minister of Culture Dr. Ghassan Salameh, on Tuesday received Russian Ambassador to Lebanon, Alexander Rodakov, in his office at the National Library-Sanayeh. The meeting addressed the latest developments and regional updates, in addition to bilateral relations between the two countries, particularly cultural ties, as the ambassador explained after the meeting.
According to National News Agency – Lebanon,Ambassador Rodakov expressed satisfaction with the current progress in bilateral cultural relations, noting efforts to enhance them through musical concerts and the exchange of expertise. During the meeting, several issues related to the cultural sector were discussed, and an official invitation was extended to Minister Salameh to attend an international cultural celebration in Moscow next May.
Ambassador Rodakov also highlighted discussions on regional developments, emphasizing Minister Salameh’s international experience and insightful vision. On the upcoming Istanbul meeting scheduled for Friday, the Ambassador stated that Russia prioritizes negotiations and discussions on the regional situation, expressing hope for a successful resolution regarding Iran and its program.
