Arkoub: Minister of Education and Higher Education, Dr. Rima Karami, on Wednesday visited Halta Public School as part of her educational tour in the Arkoub region, stressing that supporting public schools is a cornerstone for building society and safeguarding future generations.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Karami affirmed that education is a right for all and a firm commitment of the Lebanese state, expressing hope that the current approach will guarantee every child on Lebanese territory access to fair and dignified education. She said her visit carried a clear message of standing by public schools and strengthening their resilience, noting that fairness is the true starting point for reviving the education sector.
Halta School principal Mansour Al-Anaz outlined the school's needs and highlighted students' academic achievements despite difficult conditions.
Karami also visited Mari Public School, pledging continued efforts to ensure the continuity of public education across all regions.
