Beirut: Member of the "Development and Liberation" parliamentary bloc, MP Qassem Hashem, contacted Prime Minister Nawaf Salam to discuss the Israeli incursion into the southern town of Hebarieh and the abduction of one of its residents, Atwi Atwi. This act of aggression took place just hours after the Prime Minister's visit to the Arqoub region and several villages in southern Lebanon.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Salam expressed strong condemnation of this aggression. He emphasized his commitment to taking all necessary steps and making contacts to ensure the safety of the newly kidnapped individual and to secure his release, as well as the release of all Lebanese prisoners held by Israel.
