Beirut: Oil prices in Lebanon have surged today, with notable increases in gasoline and diesel. The price of 95 and 98 octane gasoline rose by LBP 8,000 per tank, while diesel saw an increase of LBP 4,000. The price for the domestic gas cylinder remained unchanged.
According to National news agency – Lebanon, the updated prices now stand at LBP 1,793,000 for 95 octane gasoline and LBP 1,836,000 for 98 octane gasoline. Diesel is now priced at LBP 1,380,000. Meanwhile, the cost of a gas cylinder is LBP 1,384,000, reflecting stability in its pricing despite fluctuations in other fuel categories. This development comes as the country grapples with ongoing economic challenges.
