Beirut: House Speaker Nabih Berri on Tuesday received Romanian Ambassador to Lebanon, Radu Catalin Mardare, at the Second Presidency headquarters in Ain al-Tineh. The ambassador's visit marked a farewell upon the conclusion of his diplomatic duties in Lebanon. The meeting provided an opportunity to review the general situation and the bilateral relations between Lebanon and Romania.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Speaker Berri engaged in discussions on the current political situation and developments with MP Fouad Makhzoumi, head of the "National Dialogue" party. Their discussions included the parliamentary elections dossier and legislative affairs. Additionally, Berri received Saeb Tammam Salam, with whom he also discussed the latest political developments.
Among Berri's visitors was former Minister of Interior and Municipalities, Mohammed Fahmi, who also participated in discussions at Ain El-Tineh. In a separate note, on the occasion of Saudi Arabia's founding day, Speaker Berri sent congratulations to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, and the Speaker of the Saudi Shura Council, Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Sheikh. Berri extended his wishes for continued security, progress, prosperity, and stability to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, its leadership, and its people.
